Octopus Garden was founded in 1990 by German instructor Udo Türscherl. Udo and his team believe in diver safety and a friendly professional atmosphere.

We offer you a wide selection of diving courses from Open Water Diver up to Divemaster. At our dive shop you’ll find a large selection of popular dive equipment from leading brands. A free pick up service from your hotel is part of our service, plus you can store your personal dive gear at our diving school.

Starting from our own jetty, we use a traditional Luzzu or a fast Cruiser to reach our dive spots. We dive the most beautiful reefs, caves and wrecks surrounding Malta, Comino and Gozo.  Our diving trips are professionally organised but in a casual friendly manner. A detailed briefing and small groups guarantee a safe and relaxed dive.

Utina Diving College is located on the beautiful island of Gozo, in Xlendi, a small village with fantastic coastal views. We welcome everybody from experienced divers to complete beginners;

We are a small school with a friendly atmosphere and are therefore able to give a more personal service to our divers, with small groups. We visit dive sites all around the island and can arrange boat dives for full day or half day diving for those sites that are more easily accessible by boat.

Xlendi Bay is sheltered on both sides by high cliffs, which make the water in the bay very calm with incredible visibility; with the vast selection of dives available on Gozo there are dives to suit all abilities. 

We are a PADI 5 Star Gold Palm Resort and Instructor Development Centre and are able to offer a wide range of courses and specialties. We also offer accompanied diving with our resident instructors who have the benefit of years of experience diving in Gozo. This allows you to relax and enjoy the dive and means that you will never miss any of the fantastic underwater scenery and marine life that Gozo has to offer.

We can also arrange airport transfers, car hire, accommodation from self-catering studio apartments to full board hotel rooms and other activities such as rock climbing, deep-water soloing, water skiing and motorboat hire.
