| Situated
right opposite the church in the picturesque and quite square
of Xaghra is Aztec. The restaurant offers a warm and welcoming
atmosphere and is a popular venue amongst locals and especially
foreigners. Diners can dine inside or outside in the pretty
square whilst enjoying live music played from local bands.

The
menu offers a vast selection of starters and salads such as
prawn cocktail mushrooms in cream and frutti di mare amongst
others. Pasta dishes include 'Penne di Malta', 'Spaghetti
al Buttaira', 'Spaghetti Marinara' and 'Tortellini Braccio
di Ferro' not to forget the home specialty 'Pasta Rockets'
(Stuffed Ravioli). Entrees include 'Grilled Peppered Fillet
Steak', 'Grilled Mushroom Fillet Steak', 'Marinated Chicken
Breast' and 'Grilled Duck Breast' and our traditionally roasted
rabbit cooked in garlic and wine.
A
relaxing and pleasant trattoria where one can even go and
enjoy a bottle of local wine amongst a vast selection of foreign
wines as well. Open everyday except Wednesdays for lunch from
11.00am last order 2.30pm and dinner from 6.00pm last order
10.30pm.
