Blue Creek is a family-run restaurant which has opened recently in Ghar Lapsi. Owned by Family Baldacchino, it is probably the most attractive and well-situated restaurant on the Maltese Southern coast.

On entering Blue Creek you can still experience the natural environment with the chosen interior decor. The owners made sure that on entering, one would still experience the greatness of the cliffs and the cool sea. The light brown furniture characterising the cliffs is washed by the cool marine colours of the wall and the floor, which lead the way to the "blue terrace" and sea. Dining on the terrace you will get the feeling of being on the sea, protected by the ever-standing, strong Lady Filfla!

Equipped with the latest state-of-the-art kitchen, we are proud to offer an à la carte menu based on Mediterranean cuisine, which is the right companion to all the above. It is a menu offering the right selection of fish, meat, poultry and pasta, although it has a dash of continental and international dishes, amongst which, ostrich meat which is served with an avocado sauce. Moreover, Blue Creek is also the ideal place for fresh fish which can range from "cippolazza" (large-scaled scorpion fish), "dentici" (dentex) to Pesce San Pietro (John Dory).

If you'd like a light snack, then you can choose from our Snack Menu which offers light dishes such as pasta and salads, and ciabatta with a variety of fillings. The sofas found in the Bar Area are designed in such a way to offer a more private environment since sofas are grouped and distinctly separated from each other. Whether you want to have a couple of drinks with your friends, discuss important business matters or talk over a glass of wine with your significant other, you are assured that you'll be spending a wonderful time at Blue Creek.

Speaking about wines, you can choose from our wide selection of both local and foreign wines. You can choose from the world-renowned Barton & Guestier wines (French), Batasiolo (Italian), and also French Chateaux wines. Moreover, there are New World wines such as the Australian Barramundi, the South African Klippenkop, the Californian Blossom Hill, the Chilean Oro and the Argentinean Peron. You can be assured that wine is served in the right temperature and condition since our wines are professionally stored and kept in our cellar.

Blue Creek has a seating capacity of 90 and another 50 in the Bar Area, together with another 40 on the al fresco terrace. It opens 7 days a week for lunch and dinner, making it the ideal place for business lunches and group/staff lunches or dinner. Reservation is recommended so you're offered the quality of service you deserve. All credit cards accepted.
