Hagar Qim is the largest and most prominent example of the Stone Age Temple Builder's craft in the Mediterranean Region.

Dating from circa 3000 B.C., it forms part of a collection of important Megalithic monuments spread around the Maltese Islands, giving testament to the thriving population and advanced civilisation of that period.

Hagar Qim restaurant is situated adjacent to the archeological park around the Temple.

For over 12 years it has served traditional Maltese cuisine such as rabbit, fish and various pastries as well as the well known "Hobz biz-zejt".
