Situated along the front of Balluta Bay close to the Le Meridian Hotel in St.Julians, Ristorante L’Ordine is a family-run business which clearly cares about what it does, cares about its customers, cares about its food and cares about the whole dining experience. Every menu item here is cooked in a simple but loving style, and the well-balanced dishes allow the flavours to shine through. Starters include a tasty array of sun-dried tomatoes, peppers, stuffed olives, artichoke hearts and aubergines amongst other delicacies. Pasta dished include spaghetti with octopus sauce and main courses include fillet steak cooked in cognac, mustard and cream served with a bed of rice. Daily specials include fresh grouper filled with salmon on a shrimp sauce.

To end the meal one can choose from the selection of desserts available which include crème caramel or warm apple pie with cream. The wine list offers several excellent yet affordable options.
