We have worked hard to make LO SQUERO

and presentation, from immaculate white upholstered chairs,
refined table covers and gleaming cutlery to the intimate

We believe that how you set the table is
as important as what you put on it and what we put on it is
what keeps bringing back our regular clients.
Our chief, Angelo Vittadello, is our cavallo di battaglia.
He is the embodiment of an ageless artistic impulse to create.
Art is his medium – l’arte di cucinare,
his métier. Winner of various awards, Angelo is a master
chef which complements with the splendor of LO SQUERO.
Our menus offer authentic preparations from different regions
of Italy. Many of our regional dishes are adapted from selected
centuries-old recipes. The forte of which are our special
pasta dishes, daily fresh fish, prime cuts meats and poultry
prepared in an exclusive manner. Ravioli di Pesce
Spada, Lingune Nere con Gamberetti, Filleto di Manzo alla
Crucifisso, Pesce al Sale, Petto di Pollo Veneziana
are only a few to mention to make every conniesior’s
mouth water.

All our pasta, desserts and gelati are prepared fresh daily
by Angelo and his staff. Special ingredients are imported,
such as black and white truffles, prosciuto and porcini mushrooms.

LO SQUERO ristorante is your getaway from
the hassle and bustle of the city yet close and discreet,
easily accessible from the road leading to the Phoenicia Meridian
Hotel in Floriana and next to the newly opening Grand Hotel
Excelsior on Hay Wharf waterfront. Parking is not a problem.
There’s ample parking just next door.
LO SQUERO ristorante offers also private
dining areas which can be reserved for business meetings or
for that special romantic moment.

Our Vello Lounge is available for private functions, stand-up
receptions and presentations.
And coming this autumn 2006, IL-FORTE an
Italian-style Sala di Pizza e Vino. Situated on the
upper floor of LO SQUERO, this place offers
stunning views of the surrounding marinas, Tigne Point, Gzira
Creek and the Manoel Island.

We are open all Week except for Tuesdays for lunch from
11.30am till 3.00pm (last order 2.30pm) and for dinner from
7.00pm till 11.00pm (last order 10.30pm)
For after-theatre or other special occasion, last order timing
can be extended by appointment
Reservations are recommended especially for Saturdays and
Sundays. We do not charge any service or minimum charge and
all major credit cards are accepted.
