The
enterprise belongs to the Cutajar family which, for the last
50 years has been making cakes the old-fashioned way. Mr.
Cutajar himself makes all the produce, having the trade from
his father.

You'll
find that Maltese cakes change according to the season. For
Christmas we have our Honey Rings, for Carnival there is the
Prinjolata and Perlini, during Lent time one can taste the
Kwarezimal and for Easter the Figolla. During the hot summer
months the nougat is a popular during the village feasts and
for all Soul's day we have the Almond Bones.
We
use the islands' raw materials whenever possible. Hence we
make our macaroons with Gozitan bitter almonds; we use Maltese
honey in our Honey Rings and we use dried figs and orange
marmalade in our fruit tarts and rolls. From wherever in the
world you happen to be coming, you'll find us friendly and
welcoming....and probably speaking your language!
