What does Klaricc actually mean?
Or who was Klaricc? Tommaso Micallef “Klaricc” was a tall very handsome man born on the eleventh of January 1906, in Rabat, Malta.

Living life in the hardest of conditions, through two world wars fighting for his life. He got married in 1932 to Pawla who was our grandmother’s aunt, they had no children.

Klaricc was a very hard worker, working the fields during the day and cutting rock during the night for a few pence a day for food. Klaricc also sometimes went out to hunt, just for that special dinner once in a blue moon. He always left for work before sunrise because he always thought that if anyone would see him going to work after the sun would rise they would think he was a lazy man.

He lived a very pleasant and long life after that till he joined the Lord in 2002 at the age of 96. God rest his soul. Amen
