| Tal-Koppla
is a new place which has opened recently in Mosta. It is conveniently
located in the main square and is spread on three split level
grounds. The ambience is relaxed and comfortable and the place
is ideal to take a quick lunch break or for a meal with family
or friends.
A
restaurant, pizzeria and cafeteria, Tal-Koppla offers a wide
choice of mouthwatering food and drink specialities for any
time during the day. Starting from breakfast and light snacks
which include the traditional Maltese pastizzi, ftiras (flat
Maltese bread filled with different ingredients), or the English
Breakfast consisting of a full fry up with rashers of bacon,
sausages, grilled tomatoes, fried eggs and baked beans served
with toast and butter.

For
starters one can choose "Octopus in Garlic", "Chicken
Wings", or "Poppers Combo Platter for 2" which
is a combination of onion rings, mozzarella sticks, jalapeno,
cream cheese poppers, quesadilla rolls, spicy prawns &
dips amongst others. Omelettes, salads, fish, burgers and
grills as well as a variety of pasta dishes are also available.
Traditional Maltese dishes include "Bragioli", "Rabbit
Stew", "Rabbit in Garlic" and "Octopus
Stew". There is also a pizza menu with a selection of
twenty different types which include the "Pizza Koppla",
"Pizza Mostija" and "Mexican Hot".
A
special section on the menu is the Weight Watchers Corner
which offers various dishes like "Low Calorie Tuna Salad",
"Pasta Salad", "Steamed Chicken Breast"
or "Vegetable Rice Salad".

Kiddies' Menu consists of "Eggs, Sausages, Baked Beans
& Chips", "Chicken Nuggets & Chips",
"Fish Fingers & Chips" of "Farfalle with
cream & ham".
You
can also enjoy teatime specialties accompanied with a special
coffee, hot tea, chocolate or milkshake.
Tal-Koppla
is open from Monday to Sunday from 8.00a till late. Group
parties and special functions for all occasions can be organized
with special set menus which can be discussed before with
the chef.
